1、 The market size of the toy industry is accompanied by the stable growth of the Chinese economy and the continuous increase in disposable income of residents. In the past five years, the Chinese toy industry has maintained a good development trend.
Data shows that the domestic sales market of China's toy industry increased from 55.6 billion yuan in 2016 to 78 billion yuan in 2020. Specifically, since 2011, except for a slight decline in 2015, the number of newborns has continued to grow; In 2016, as the first year of the implementation of the comprehensive second child policy, a new birth population of 17.86 million was added, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%. The increment of newborns will become an important driving force for future consumption growth in the toy industry.
